Centennial Medical Office Building and Parking Garage
The Centennial Medical Center Medical Office Building and Parking Garage, located on the Centennial Medical Center Campus, was a two-phased project which took 19 months for construction.
The first phase consisted of a four-story medical office building with one level of parking and three levels of medical office building shell totalling 153,444-SF. Also included were a 19,000-SF ambulatory surgery center with six operating rooms and prep/hold/recovery space and a 7,000-SF urology clinic which included an extensive lab, exam and procedure rooms. In addition, a cosmetic surgery suite with two special procedure rooms was also housed in the building. The exterior of the building is made of architectural pre-cast around the parking level and metal studs and EIFS for the remaining three floors. Included in the medical office building portion of the job is a pedestrian connector bridge connecting the medical office building to an existing building on-site.
The second phase of the project included the demolitionof an existing surgery center and the construction of a new three-story parking garage. The parking garage is a pre-cast structure at total of 167,808-SF (443 spaces), with the possibility of an additional two floors. The garage also has a 1,008-SF connector bridge, which connects to the medical office building
