Swarthmore College Unified Science Center
A new 145,000-SF facility joined all of Swarthmore’s science departments including physics, astronomy, mathematics/statistics, chemistry, biology, computer science and the science library under one roof. This unified learning environment required construction of additions that resulted in both a new space and links to each of the three existing science buildings: Martin, Cornwell, and Dupont. Most of the remaining spaces within these existing buildings have also been completely renovated to meet the new program requirements.
