AEP Gavin Unit #2 Outage
As part of the Spring 2007 planned outage at the AEP Gavin Plant in Cheshire, OH, Industrial Contractors Skanska successfully removed and replaced a number of critical, boiler components, which ranged in size from 35-55 feet in length and weighed as much as six tons each. In addition, Industrial Contractors Skanska replaced high-pressure heaters and flash tank components, which made the work more more complex due to the high altitude of the access areas and the tight spaces through which they had to be maneuvered.
