As a part of the contracted works, Skanska performed a revitalization
of 18th-century park complex in Poddębice and the Ner river area. New pavements, drainage and lightning systems, a few thousands of trees and shrubs as well as the construction of a playground were the tasks of the contractor. The company was also responsible for the renovation of park’s renaissance entrance gate.

The Sensory Garden in Poddębice realized by Skanska offers a place for relax, recreation, but also for rest and rehabilitation. Recreation and art are treated here as therapeutic means designed to stimulate the body and provide the support during recovery period. This unusual garden affects people’s senses: sight, hearing, smell, taste, touch, combined with a sense of balance and spatial orientation.
Ner Boulevard
A boulevard for cyclists and pedestrians along the Ner river was also realized as a part of the project. It links the Sensory Garden with, among others, neighboring Thermal Park and is a place of active recreation of Poddębice citizens.
