Implemented by Skanska, the Palokka School Center has facilities for more than 500 students. It also serves as a venue for culture, sports, gathering and leisure services for all local residents. The School Center is a three-storey building with a floor area of approximately 12,400 square meters.

The gymnasium comprises 930 square meters and includes spectator stands for 300 people. The multi-purpose center accommodates the Palokka library and the Adult Education Center's premises for music and art courses. The central kitchen serving institutions throughout Palokka district is also located in the School Center.
