Skanska sells office building in Prague, Czech Republic, for EUR 68 M, about SEK 690 M
Skanska has sold the office building Visionary in Prague, Czech Republic, to CA Immo, an Austrian based real estate company, for EUR 68 M, about SEK 690 M. The transaction will be recorded by Skanska Commercial Development Europe in the second quarter 2018, with the transfer of the property also scheduled for the second quarter 2018.
Visionary offers a gross leasable area of about 23,000 square meters and is already above 90 percent leased to companies such as Accenture, Business Link and WMC/ACTUM Digital.
The building is located in Prague 7, one of the city’s most rapidly developing districts, and is the first and most modern office project located in the immediate vicinity of the Nádraží Holešovice subway station. Visionary is also the first building in the Czech Republic to introduce a running track on the roof. The building will feature a garden, a multifunctional sports area and cafes which will all be open to the public.
Visionary was completed in April 2018 and is expected to receive LEED Platinum (Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design) and WELL Core & Shell certifications.
