Skanska invests PLN 143M, about SEK 360M, in phase 3 of the residential development project NU in Warsaw, Poland
The development project, which forms part of a broader urban revitalization transforming a former post-industrial area into a modern, green, and well-connected city quarter, will feature landscaped courtyards, recreational and fitness areas, playgrounds, and shared green spaces designed to support residents’ wellbeing and improve the local microclimate.
NU3 will incorporate environmentally friendly solutions aimed at reducing energy consumption and improving residents’ comfort. The project will include photovoltaic panels powering common areas, triple-glazed windows, double insulation of the domestic hot water installation, humidity-controlled air vents, and a smart home system enabling residents to remotely manage heating and electricity consumption.
It has already achieved a preliminary BREEAM certification at the Very Good level, with aspirations for Excellent certification, as well as a “Green Home” pre-certificate awarded by the Polish Green Building Council.
Construction began in May 2026 and will be completed in December 2027.
