Skanska to build center for microelectronics at Chalmers University of Technology
Skanska has been awarded a contract to construct a microelectronics center for the Chalmers University of Technology in Gothenburg, Sweden. The project is a co-ordinated general contract in which Skanska's undertaking amounts to SEK 90 million. The customer is Akademiska Hus in Göteborg AB.

Skanska has been awarded a contract to construct a microelectronics center for the Chalmers University of Technology in Gothenburg, Sweden. The project is a co-ordinated general contract in which Skanska's undertaking amounts to SEK 90 million. The customer is Akademiska Hus in Göteborg AB.
The building contains 23,500 square meters and is being built in ten storeys. Research in the field of microelectronics will be carried out on the premises, which will comprise largely clean rooms, measurement labs, offices and installation space. The construction period is March 1998 through January 2000.
