Skanska sells residential project in Stockholm, Sweden, for SEK 421 M
Skanska has signed an agreement to sell part of the property Generatorn 2 in Stockholm, Sweden, to HEBA Fastighets AB. The value of the transaction totals SEK 421 M. The sale will be recorded for Skanska Sweden in the fourth quarter 2014 and the transfer of the property is scheduled for summer 2017, when the property is completed.
The deal includes construction of four apartment buildings with 184 apartments and 1,460 square meters of floor space. The property is located next to the Flemingsberg commuter rail station.
Construction will start in early 2015, once building permit has been obtained, and the property is to be completed in summer 2017.
Skanska Sweden is one of Sweden’s largest construction companies, with operations in building and civil-engineering construction. The business unit has approximately 11,000 employees and revenue in 2013 amounted to approximately SEK 30 billion. In Sweden, Skanska is also active in the development of residential construction and commercial premises.
