Aiming for environmental excellence

We built One New Street, near London’s Farringdon station, for Land Securities.

The Robin Partington Architects-designed building provides 25,500sqm of office and ancillary space over ground, upper ground and 14 office floors.

The 16-storey commercial development boasts features such as external terraces on the upper levels, where tenants can enjoy outdoor spaces, and a bespoke glazed-frame curtain wall cladding system.

Excellent environmental ambition

The team aims to achieve the BREEAM excellent environmental standard through its use of sustainable methods throughout the construction phase, such as:

• the efficient use of water and energy
• minimising waste
• using materials that have a zero or near-zero impact on the community and surrounding environment
• maximising the use of recycled materials
